What is made of?
Our cling wrap is made from plant Starch and PBAT which is derived from plants as well.
Where is it made?
Made in China.
Is it home compostable?
Yes, it does meet the requirement for home composting. Our manufacturer has all the necessary certificates which we examined. We currently only have BPI but we are gradually adding the rest.
Did they pass the worm test?
Yes it is required to pass ‘home compostable’ certificate
What certifications do you have?
We currently only have BPI. Please see Certificate for further info and links to check the Certificates yourself.
Is it as effective as traditional cling wrap?
Yes. it works just as good, it is thicker. Please make sure to check the instructions sheet we usually send with the order.
Why is there a plastic slider?
We tested multiple ways. Pre perforated wraps performs very poorly, so does the serrated edge. The slider did very well especially if you follow the instructions we sent. We do have a solution to decrease the use of sliders however!
What is the difference between this wrap and traditional one?
Besides that ours is eco friendly, our cling wrap is actually thicker. You will want to stretch it a little more for it to cling properly otherwise it will work exactly the same as traditional plastic film.
Is it microwave safe?
No, please do not use it in the microwave.
Are you going to add Bamboo box with a permanent slider?
Yes if there is enough demand we will add it with Slider. For people who purchase the bamboo box they will receive a cling wrap box without the slider (unless it is requested to get a new slider since they will not last forever)

Works just like the regular cling wrap. You do have to stretch it a little more for it to cling but it’s sturdy. I did try other compostable cling wrap before and they shred so easily. This one did not! The info sheet I got with the product was actually really helpful, this is how I knew that I gotta stretch it more
